Adrian Percy is a Venture Partner at DYDX based in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. Adrian has more than 25 years of senior executive experience in biotechnology and chemistry businesses.
Adrian is currently Director of the PSI at NC State University – a multidisciplinary science and engineering institute. Previously he was CTO of UPL, an Indian-based chemical and biology company (NSE: UPL). Prior to this Adrian was Head of Research & Development for the Crop Science division of Bayer (FWB: BAYN). He began his career in 1991 at Rhone-Poulenc based in France. Since then, he has held numerous positions in the research and development departments of Rhone Poulenc, Aventis and Bayer in France, Germany and the United States.
Adrian studied in the United Kingdom, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacology at the University of Liverpool, a Master’s degree in Toxicology and then a doctorate in Biochemistry at the University of Birmingham.
