Mike is a Venture Partner at DYDX based in Southern California. He is a company builder and technologist. Previously Mike has led large teams in clean energy start-ups and helped raise multiple rounds of venture capital funding. Mike is interested in the supply side of commodities, especially fuel, food and fiber – supporting DYDX companies that overlap with these spaces. Mike has 45+ years of experience supporting 10s of billions of dollars in revenue. Prior to Mike’s entrepreneurial endeavors he served as a VP at Syngenta (NYSE: SYT). Mike has also led and coordinated multinational scientific studies for new data-driven technologies, most recently with the NZ government.
Mike holds a MSc from University of California Davis and continues his association, teaching at its Biotechnology Center.
